blogged to a golden brown

I love toast, but never knew the true benefit of having a toast resource. That is until I realized there was such a thing. It links to a very old favorite of mine, The Flaming Pop-Tart Experiment. Remember when the Web was only about passing on knowledge?

Sex sells, but publishers are learning that quality packaged, high end sex sells even better. Now how do I get a job working for these companies, because they obviously need help understanding some basic things about product marketing.

How many cameras can you swallow?

I wonder how effective it is to use the word porn in the title of your press release. Probably very. Note the unintended irony in regards to the mention of women, sex, and last name of the founder/president/media contact (as well as receptionist and night watchman, no doubt).

I'm almost guffless today. Need too much sleep. And a well paid position somewhere. And a soak.

I did add a new link (left) for Tom Biro's Weblog. He was kind enough to slip Blurried Musings onto his site, so I return the favor in kind. Maybe I should add a similar list on BM. I'll think about it. Anyway, glance over Tom's blog, then travel up to his home page and check out the pretty kitty heads.

Thanks to The Register's report of new information from a bunch of obvious geniuses called the Nielson Norman Group, I now know that kids aren't any smarter online than their parents. Must have involved months of research. Or they must have just stumbled into a chat room.

Ah, gorgonzola. I don't really like it all that much as a cheese, but it's a great word to say out loud. Gor-gon-zo-la. Almost runs off your tongue. Would be a great name as well: Gorgon Zola, half-sister to Émile.

Hey kids, don't dare and go swing in this manner, or you'll be charged a license fee for your trouble. This shows the US Patent Office does have a sense of humor. That is, I really do hope that's what it shows...

ABC has a little primer for modern day kamikazes. OK, so it's not really a guide as such, but it would be nice if someone got around to finishing the edits on Terrorism for Dummies.

This site wins the Kafkaesquí Truth in Domain Naming award for April 2002:

There is no prize except for my everlasting sympathy. Turning 180 degrees, this one wins Most Misused Domain:

It just ain't, and should be a crime of some sort.

"Picture yourself trapped in a Volvo commercial." Or in other words: someone out there really likes Lea Thompson. But after all, what is life without a real good obsession.

Has anyone (other than I) yet noticed that an anagram for "George Bush" is: Bush e.g. Gore. Stranger still is that from "George W. Bush" I get Gore hugs Web. Best I can piece out of "Al Gore" is go real, so I'm not sure what the connection is. Yet.
